Family Fun Days 2026

At Ripon, we believe horse racing is a sport for the whole family. Children under 18 enjoy free admission to all enclosures when accompanied by an adult at any race meeting.

To keep little ones entertained, we have two permanent playgrounds—one in the Course Enclosure and one in the Paddock Enclosure—plus a variety of fun activities on raceday. These may include bouncy castles, inflatable slides, balloon modelling, face painting and glitter tattoos, arts & crafts, magic shows, Punch & Judy, and much more. (Please note that not all activities are available at every race meeting.)

For food, we offer a variety of family-friendly options across all enclosures, including hot meals, sandwiches, and snacks. Picnics are also welcome in the Paddock and Course Enclosures. Small amounts of alcohol are permitted in the Course Enclosure (up to four cans or equivalent—no spirits or glass), but not in the Paddock Enclosure.

For a sit-down experience, our Club Dining Room in the Club Enclosure welcomes children, with options tailored to younger tastes from the day’s main menu.
