Hot off the press are William Hill’s odds on the Ripon Charity Christmas Dash which will be available to view on Twitter and Facebook at Midday on Christmas Eve!
With eight closely matched runners a tight finish looks on the cards.
The favourite looks set to be the winner of the only previous race on the course, runner no.2 Joyful, racing for Macmillan Cancer Support and Paul Thomas at odds of 4/1.
Current second favourite is no. 7 AP McToy, racing for William Hill and their chosen charity Alzheimers Society. At 5/1 his supporters will be hoping he is as tough as the other AP.
Next in at 6/1 is No.5 Girl Power, hoping to go one better than when runner-up in the Winter Dash in February for CTM Holidays and their chosen charity Girls Empowered by Travel Nepal, we are expecting Girl Power to be the one the ladies will really, really want.
No.4 Hornblower is 6/1, racing for Ripon Racecourse & Myeloma UK, hoping to keep the prize at home. No.1 Stray Stallion for Stray FM and Harrogate Homeless project will be looking to improve on Februarys 3rd and no.3 Men United racing for Team Given and Prostate Cancer UK makes James Given the only UK trainer with a runner on Christmas Eve!
The outsiders at 8/1 and 10/1 respectively are no.6 Some Day Soon, named after the Racegoers Club’s star performer and racing Racing Welfare and no. 8 Titanium Thunder racing for Titanium Racing and Racing to School. The Titanium team are happy with their high draw but we are expecting that racing closest to the edge of the paper may prove to be a disadvantage .
