Ladies’ Day is the perfect excuse to dress up, get your friends together and enjoy an afternoon of racing and summer style at Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse.
From catching up with friends to cheering home a winner, there’s plenty to enjoy. You can also enter our Best Dressed Lady, Best Hat and — not forgetting the gents — Best Dressed Gent competitions for the chance to win some really exciting prizes.
Whether you’re a regular racegoer or joining us for the first time, planning a group outing or celebrating something special, we’d love to welcome you.
Dress for the Occasion
Ladies’ Day is the perfect excuse to enjoy dressing up, with summer outfits, favourite accessories and eye-catching hats all part of the occasion.
While there’s no formal dress code in the Paddock or Course Enclosures, many racegoers enjoy making an extra effort for this special day. Whether you go all out or keep it simple, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.

Picnic & Prosecco Package
Enjoy a picnic and a little fizz with friends this Ladies’ Day. Choose from a seafood, Ploughman’s or vegetarian picnic, served with a mini bottle of Prosecco and strawberries and cream.
Available with either Club or Paddock Enclosure admission included — simply select the package within your preferred enclosure when booking.
