These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Ripon Racecourse website, the purchase of tickets and packages, and attendance at Ripon Racecourse.

By purchasing or using a ticket, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, subject to your statutory rights. Please read them carefully before making a booking or attending the racecourse.

1. General

• All bookings made with Ripon Race Company Limited are subject to these Terms & Conditions.

• Customers making bookings must be aged 18 or over, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

• Access to our website is free, although telephone or data charges may apply depending on your provider.

• Ripon Racecourse reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will not retrospectively affect bookings already confirmed unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

2. Booking & Payment

Online Bookings

• Tickets can be purchased online for the enclosures and events at Ripon Racecourse.

• Ticket prices and availability are displayed at the time of booking and may vary depending on the fixture, enclosure and ticket type.

• All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

• Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

• Payments are processed securely through our authorised payment provider.

• A booking is confirmed once payment has been accepted and an order confirmation has been issued.

Booking Confirmation

• Customers will receive a booking confirmation by email, including their order reference and details of their purchase.

• Please check your booking confirmation carefully and contact Ripon Racecourse as soon as possible if any details are incorrect.

• Customers should retain their booking confirmation and e-tickets for admission and any future enquiries.

Payment Security

• All transactions are subject to standard payment verification and security checks.

• Ripon Racecourse reserves the right to cancel and refund bookings where payment cannot be authorised or where fraudulent activity is reasonably suspected.

3. Tickets & Admission

• Tickets must be purchased directly from Ripon Racecourse or an authorised ticket agent.

• Counterfeit, invalid or fraudulently obtained tickets will not be accepted, and admission may be refused.

• Tickets must not be resold for more than their original face value.

• Tickets are valid only for the fixture, date and enclosure specified at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed by Ripon Racecourse.

• Customers are responsible for ensuring their tickets are kept safe and accessible for admission.

• Tickets may be purchased on the day of racing, subject to availability and the applicable admission prices.

• Advance booking discounts, including group offers, may not be available on the day of racing.

• Ripon Racecourse reserves the right to refuse admission or remove individuals who breach these Terms & Conditions, venue regulations or safety requirements.

4. Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellations

Refunds & Exchanges

• Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once purchased, except where required by law or expressly agreed by Ripon Racecourse.

• Refunds will not normally be provided for unused tickets or where customers are unable to attend.

• Any requests for refunds or exchanges in exceptional circumstances will be considered at the discretion of Ripon Racecourse, without affecting statutory rights.

Fixture Cancellations & Abandonment

• Horse racing is an outdoor sport, and fixtures will normally proceed in varying weather conditions.

• If a fixture is cancelled or abandoned, Ripon Racecourse will communicate the applicable refund or exchange arrangements to affected customers.

• Refund arrangements may vary depending on whether a fixture is cancelled in advance or abandoned on the day.

• Ripon Racecourse reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the racing programme, event timings, entertainment or facilities where necessary. Such changes will not automatically entitle customers to a refund unless required by law or where the event is materially different from that originally advertised.

5. Hospitality & Packages

• Hospitality and other special packages must be booked in advance.

• Package availability, inclusions and pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking.

• Refunds or cancellations of hospitality packages may be subject to additional conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

• Where a package includes food, drink or other services, any applicable refund will take account of the services already provided, subject to statutory rights.

6. Racecourse Conduct & Safety

• All visitors must comply with Ripon Racecourse’s regulations, safety instructions and reasonable directions given by racecourse staff.

• Ripon Racecourse reserves the right to refuse admission or remove anyone whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, abusive or likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury.

• Visitors may be subject to reasonable security checks, including checks of bags and personal belongings, as a condition of entry.

• Visitors are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own safety and personal belongings.

• Attendance at a live sporting event may involve inherent risks, and visitors should remain aware of their surroundings and follow any safety guidance provided.

7. Photography, Filming & Marketing

• Photography and filming may take place at Ripon Racecourse during racedays and other events for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.

• By attending Ripon Racecourse, visitors acknowledge that they may appear in photographs or video footage captured during their visit.

• Ripon Racecourse may use event photography and video footage across its website, social media channels, printed publications, advertising materials, press coverage and other promotional platforms, where permitted by applicable law.

• Visitors with concerns about being photographed or filmed are encouraged to speak to a member of the Ripon Racecourse team.

8. Promotional & Commercial Use of Tickets
